Warm and cozy in bed, woke up and checked the time, Double tap 0925……..can’t be there is still darkness.  Double tap……0926, ( I usually wake up between 5 and 6 in the morning).  What the …….and then in my morning stupor a thought occurs…has the sun failed, are we all doomed to eternal darkness and the planet destined to become an iceberg?   Nahhhh……must be this stupid Charge 5.  Reached over to check my wife’s wrist and her Fitbit Versa, double tap……0528.   Double tap my Charge 5 again, 0928.   Figures, my wife is now awake and confirms the reading on my Charge 5.  Now what?  After posting dozens of comments about poor battery performance now this ?  Anyway, time to make the coffee.   By time I get on my feet I check the time again,  hmmmmm… double tap 0604, that’s better.   So what happened?  A Fitbit hiccup or promised firmware update, perhaps I’ll never know.

I sit here at 5:22 a.m. drinking my coffee.... my fitbit says it's 11:22 a.m.

I noticed that my charge 5 started displaying the wrong time yesterday 3/24/22.  To correct it the time I sync my watch with my Fitbit app on my IPhone.

since it just started and several have reported the problem I assume that Fitbit has caused the problem with an update.

I'm eager for a firmware update now. It's been a while since the last one. Better clock faces and the sync ability is poor. Life in hope of a better future.

Yesterday my Charge 5 started showing weird times like when it was 9:05 p.m., my watch said it was 3:26 p.m.

 

Yesterday and today my steps literally disappeared before my eyes.  I was looking at my step count before my walk.  I had 5,041 steps and while I was looking at the app on my phone, the step count went down to 4,451.  

 

Yesterday and today my normal count was reduced by a few thousand when I did the exact same thing I do every day.

 

Fitbit FIX this please!!!!
