Turns off during exercise

Why does it turn of after 35min during exercise although fully charged

Hi, @Blossom269 welcome to the community, this should not be your experience, can you please provide more information?

• What exercise are you doing? did you take a long break?
• How are you starting it on your Charge 5? Are you using the exercise settings or leaving it to "Auto-recognize"?
• When you say "it turns off after 35 minutes" what do you see, does it sync with your phone or does the screen just go blank - please describe what happens.
• Are there any other symptoms? confirm you can sync, and your Charge 5 is otherwise working OK.

Everything works it just stops after about 35min or switches itself off at
random times even when fully charges .
I use a elliptical machine

the same thing has happened to me just now. was doing an treadmill exercice then the fibit logo appears and now it complety off.

I contacted Fitbit and basically they told me to turn it off and on again

I'm not familiar with "Elliptical machines" but your arms may need to be moving to track the exercise (other community members are in a better position than I am to advise on this point) The most reliable way to track "Elliptical" with be to set up the shortcut & use the start arrow on your Charge 5. as described in the links above.

To make sure it's moving i put it on my foot as I don't wear trainers
whilst using it
