Unable to Set My Correct Time Zone on my Charge 5

Hello,
I am experiencing a persistent problem with my Fitbit Charge 5 after traveling and changing time zones. My correct time zone is Omsk (GMT+6). The option appears in the time zone list in the Fitbit mobile app. However, when I select it: The checkmark briefly appears next to “Omsk,” Then it disappears after saving, And my account reverts to a previous time zone or leaves it unset. This behavior occurs even after:
- Restarting the device and phone,
- Reinstalling the Fitbit app,
- Trying both “Set Automatically” and manual selection,
- Enabling GPS/location services,
- Attempting on different internet connections,
- Manually syncing after each change.
Other time zones (e.g., Africa/Cairo) apply successfully and update my device clock immediately — but Omsk will not save under any circumstances.
Impact: While the current time shown on my Charge 5 display is correct, the inability to set my actual time zone causes all tracked activities and sleep sessions to be timestamped incorrectly. This results in inaccurate daily logs, summaries, and analysis within the Fitbit app, making the data unreliable for health tracking and goal monitoring.
Could you please escalate this bug to your technical team, as it seems to be a server-side problem with this specific time zone. This issue is severely impacting my ability to use the Fitbit for its intended purpose.
Thank you,
Anastasia
