Bluetooth connection alternates between connected and not connected on a constant basis. (Every 3 seconds it disconnects and immediately reconnects)
have several times tried removed C5 from app and reinstalled, restarted C5 and iPhone after turning on and off Bluetooth. Nothing keeps the connection stable.
Is your C5 plugged in? In my case, I was seeing it alternate between connected and not connected every 1-3 seconds while it was plugged into my laptop. As soon as I disconnected it from the laptop, the connection stabilized. It hasn't disconnected in about 10 minutes.
I have the same Bluetooth/syncing issues. Have tried all the fixes and it will for a time function, then reverts to Bluetooth disconnects and no syncs. I can be in the Bluetooth setting of my iPhone and at times see it switch between connected and not connected for numerous times. Hopefully Fitbit takes this seriously and gets a fix out. In the wings the Amazon Halo View is waiting so it might enhance action. I sure hope so as the Charge 5 is a great device otherwise!
I charged my new Charge 5 right out of the box. Almost immediately a red circled x displayed. Left it charging next to my Pixel 3a all night. The next morning the Charge 5 had connected and the red circled x was gone. Charge 5 seemed to stay connected and work all day but then lost connection that night and haven't been able to resync no matter what I try. Why won't my Pixel 3a Bluetooth find my Charge 5? It finds my Roku right away. The Charge 5 is sitting right next to my phone. Pixel 3a Bluetooth does not find the Charge 5 device whether the Charge 5 is being recharged or not. Tried pressing tiny little button on base of the charging cable 3 times and my phone's Bluetooth still doesn't find the Charge 5 device. However it did change the "Today" or C5 logo (13 blue dots) from solid to only showing up for a couple of seconds every 12 seconds.
I have reached them through live chat and a few days later received the following completely useless advice by email:
Hi Kliment,
Thanks for waiting.
After consulting with the team, we suggest going to the phone's Bluetooth then make sure to unpair/forget other Bluetooth devices if there are any connected.
