After two years, I thought I would try using the water lock feature in an aqua fitness class. Big mistake. It’s dead. Do I have any recourse?

Hello, @Squeebs Welcome to the forums!
I understand your situation with the water lock feature, can you describe in detail what has happened and if you have tried any step to solve the situation, please? Also, please let me know the following:
- Does the Charge 5 vibrate when you connect it to the charged?
- Are the green lights in the back of it on or off?
- Can you try doing a restart following the steps in this article, please?
Thanks for your efforts!

Thanks so much for your reply. I’m afraid there’s no light, no vibration. The thing seems completely dead. I’ve tried the restart a couple of times I put it in a bag with desiccants, I charged it, all to no avail.

The issue is not why my Fitbit Charge 5 isn’t charging but rather that it immediately stopped working when submerged in water (I had set the water lock) and has been dead ever since. Is the company willing to help me since they advertise water lock as a feature that you can use while swimming and it apparently is not?
