Hi! It's happened a few times.
Midway through the day I look at my fitbit and the steps, etc have erased and started over. It's frustrating because I then don't make my goal for the day.

Thank you for sharing all this information about the problem you're experiencing with your Charge 5.
The steps should only be erased at midnight. Before considering other options, could you please confirm if you already tried the restart procedure as described in this article (using the charging cable)?
In addition, please make sure that you've set up the correct time zone in your account settings, as this has been useful for other users experiencing something similar.
