Why does the Apple Watch have so many more stats than Fitbit?

My friend and I were comparing our watches the other day. He has an Apple Watch, not sure which kind, I have a Fitbit charge 5. Fitbit has all the basic stat trackers. His has stride length, unevenness of stride, steps climbed, so much **ahem**. How does it do it? Is there a Fitbit/non apple product that does that too?

Hi, @niyarw1 welcome to the community, the best way to answer your question is to suggest you research the specifications of Fitbit & Pixel Watch 2. You may be certain they are not as expensive as the Apple products.
