Won't wake up

Recent purchase, fully charged and updated.

 

It keeps going to sleeps and will not wake up.

Wrist movement does not work,  double tap does not work.

If I connect to the charger it wakes up, back onto my wrist and after an hour of so again refuses to wake up.

 

Tried erase and reconnect to phone.

Tried restarting device.

 

Same problem - after an hour or less it won't wake up.

 

Advice before I return as faulty?

Quick settings: Screen Wake On; Sleep Mode off

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

It was reset to factory settings already, so that is how it is set.

 

Still locking up.  Last night froze at 0115 and had to plug into charger to reset (The time displayed 0115 until it resynced at 0643)

 

If there isn't a fix, it'll go back tomorrow.

Ok, I give up.

 

Returned for a refund, and purchased an Apple watch instead.

Waste of my time
