charge 5 won’t work after update

My charge 5 updated on its own a few days ago and now the battery drains in under an hour, it randomly turns off, doesn’t respond to restarting, won’t track steps and won’t connect to my phone app. It is only slightly over 1 year old and of course, past the warranty period. I want my money back and they offered me 35% off a new one….

I’m having the same issues. None of the troubleshooting works because I can’t connect to Bluetooth. It’s completely dead now. I’ve had mine for about 8 months. A 35% discount is absolutely unacceptable - if the issue isn’t fixed, why waste money on another Fitbit product?
