I wonder if someone could help me with this.
I ride my bike several times a week. My fitbit senses I'm riding but the exercise is always incorrect. Everything about it is wrong. It always says It's Mountain Bike and it isn't. The duration is wrong the distance the average speed everything. I also use a Wahoo bike computer that accurately tracks heart rate, distance, power in watts, speed and I export that to Strava. When I see that my fitbit is way off. Like it says I rode 2 miles when I actually did 50. Bit of a difference. I then try to edit and save the actual data and it always reverts back to the fitbit incorrect data. Can anyone advice me how to get correct exercise fata form mt Fitbit please? Thanks

Once you end your workout, you should be able to look t the GPS route to see what's missing.
I start and end my rides tapping on the Charge 5, then sync with Fitbit app which in turn auto syncs with Strava. Then I compare the data to my Wahoo chest strap that logs the ride via the Wahoo app (using the iPhone GPS).
I get pretty closely matched GPS data - MY problem is very poor heart rate tracking. Unfortunately, the chest strap is not perfect either, so during live monitoring (looking at Wahoo and Fitbit apps during the ride) there typically is a discrepancy of 10 to 40 beats and it's not always the Fitbit that seems incorrect. Lately the Fitbit has gotten worse, consistently over reporting heart rate.
