Hello @shopland and welcome to the Community. There’s an Interval Workout shortcut available in the Exercise app. You set a move interval, your rest interval, and your number of reps.
There is also a Run Training Guided Program that doesn’t require Premium. You can find it by tapping on the Discover icon and searching the Guided Programs.

Charge 5 can track running as an exercise.
Before you start running you can set whether to on GPS, Run Detection, Auto pause, always on display.
Once you start your exercise you can always view the distance and stopwatch timer. You will also be able to view your pace, avg pace, heart rate, calories, steps, clock time, distance, stopwatch timer and active zone minute through tapping the screen.
You will also get a summary of
workout duration, distance, avg pace, active zone min, avg heart rate, max heart rate, calories steps and route at the end of the run

@shopland I think the Interval Workout exercise shortcut will meet your needs. Your “move” interval will be your running and your “rest” interval will be your walking. I don’t think you need any additional app.

Best AnswerHi Shopland. For what it is worth- you can set the Charge 5 (and other Charges) to auto-detect a run. Once your activity exceeds a threshold, it begins tracking you run. And, after done, you can view the run results using your Fitbit app. No other app needed.
Best AnswerHi thanks for your help. Does the run/walk timer have a signal or vibration for the interval? I have a Harmon for running but it’s getting old. It will vibrate for the run/walk intervals
@shopland Yes, your Charge 5 will vibrate at each interval. The Charge 5 has a vibration setting in the Settings app on the device itself. I recommend using the strongest vibration setting so you can feel it while running.
