I've been running update 188.58 for a while. This morning my fit displayed a blank screen, and not matter how often I tapped the screen nothing was displayed. The device still synced with the app and the app showed 28% charged. When I reset the device using the charge cable it showed empty battery. I let it charge to 56% and then started using it. Every time I tapped the screen it would display the add card to wallet screen, not the normal date screen. When it did display the date screen within 5 seconds it would display the add card to wallet screen. It was almost impossible to display the total steps today screen or the steps per hour screen. And then about 2 hours after I charged it to 56% the battery was empty again. I recharged it to 43% and then reset the device, but this time from the device itself not using the charge cable. Things seem to be working as expected now, but if I have to reset the device everyday to get it to work that's ridiculous.

Hi, @Pgaltieri welcome, As a general rule if you experience difficulties with your "Fitbit" device, after checking it has a reasonable state of charge, the next step is to "Restart" your device as you have done (do not do a factory reset as this removes your data). This resolves many issues successfully. You should not have to repeat this but if you do, please post here again.
PS there is a new update coming.
