unresponsive Charge 5

charge 5 was first not responsive to touch, then it would not charge, pressing the bottom 3 times did not work. Not responsive at all, it is plugged in hopes it responds (LOL), no green light, not vibration...Help!

Same here. Appears to charge but still black screen after 2 hours on the charger.

Ok, this is what I found & it worked! First I changed the charger outlet. Used another outlet to try it, the 5 rebooted & went back off. I double tapped the screen & it's working again. Read that some people had to try rebooting several times but it worked after 1x for me.

Mine died today and now won’t power on. I can tell it’s charging but won’t even reset. When I try the three button tap, the Fitbit logo pops up and then the screen goes blank again. Won’t do anything and it’s less than 6 months old. So mad right now! What a waste!

Woke up with my Charge 5 unresponsible this morning. The alarm hasn't gone off and i almost overslept.

The device wakes up very slowly, moving around the interface is extremely slow, eventualy went to the Restart menu a couple of times, but it won't restart, the screen just goes black, no logo on reboot appears.

Had to use the the charging cable and its restart button, which eventualy did it after a couple of minutes.

In the app, after sync, all data from 02:35 AM to 06:35 AM is missing.

The worrying bit is that i count on the alarm to work and it hasn't let me down in the four months since i own the device.
