Lately the app doesn’t reflect steps on the Charge 6 at the end of the day. This is especially annoying when you’ve met your daily goal at 11:58 pm and it decides to take away 400 steps. Any suggestions on how to make the app reflect steps shown on device?

Welcome @Vickiejod to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
Let me help you with the step counting on the Fitbit app.
Sometimes this kind of issue arrives when you have the Mobiletrack activated on your Fitbit app. This is useful to track your stats when you leave your Fitbit device at home.
From the Today tab in the Fitbit app on your phone, tap the devices icon. Do you see your Charge 6 and an icon of a mobile as connected devices? If you do, i would recommend that you remove the mobile track feature so you cant track your steps with your Charge 6 only.
