My Charge 6 is 2 days old. I charged to 100% yesterday (I promise), and it went dead overnight. I got an email saying my battery was low. My screen is not set to be on all the time or anything obvious like that. It seemed to be working fine yesterday. Is there a GPS or something I have on that would cause a quick discharge?
I know it is probably some setting, but of course there is a small chance it is defective and I need to return it, so I will appreciate any help offered.

@Pendelton - thanks for the feedback and it looks like the watch may be ok in standalone mode, so the problem may be the new V4 Fitbit App which has connection/syncing problems.
Try with Bluetooth on for a day, but that may not be the whole story because if it loses connection it may become in standalone mode again.
Indeed confusing.

Hi @Pendelton - it could well be faulty, to check, charge fully and restart the device and sync so the % battery in the app matches.
Turn off the phone's Bluetooth overnight. This puts the device in standalone mode and if the battery dies when set to sleep mode there is an issue.
If it is faulty a refund may be a quicker resolution and gives the possibility to get a new one rather than a warranty replacement refurbished one.

Thanks. I will do that tonight, even though monitoring sleep patterns is a major part of what I want the Fitbit to do.
So if the battery is OK tomorrow AM, but it has been offline, then what? It seems like it should be able to last through a couple of nights of sleep monitoring, right? And yes, I am pretty sure I can return it to Amazon and get a replacement within some number of days, so I sure don't want to have to file a warranty claim.

I left the Fitbit on last night and now, a day later, my charge is at 87%. This causes a little confusion since now I have now way of knowing whether my unit is faulty. It went from 100% to 0% over one day, but the next it went from 100% to 89%. I still have the option to return to Amazon with no hassle, but since everything now appears normal I have no idea what to do. I think I will just hang on to it, and if it discharges a month from now I will have to rethink and go with a more complicated warranty claim.
Oh well. This is life.
