I’ve been a Fitbit user from day one. Over Christmas my Charge 5 battery started draining really fast, it was 3 years old. I limped on until my birthday end of Feb. Got the new Charge 6 as a replacement and I noticed from day one that the battery was only lasting 3 or 4 days. A few weeks in and it’s last 2 days, Yesterday I went out and it died before I went to bed!
The watch face also has an annoying either battery/phone thing at the top of the screen with a slash through it, I’ve read on here that means out of Bluetooth range. My phone is permanently on my person or less than 2 feet away.
id have taken the device back to the store I bought it from as it’s less than a month old but the receipt & box is back at a friends place as I bought it in another city when staying over. I’ve loved my fitbits through the years but this along with other bugs along my Fitbit journey really does make me wonder if my decision to buy another when my friend who has Apple Watches never had an issue once, just makes me wonder if I should have just put up with a big clunky watch on my very small wrist over my lovely looking slimline Charge 6 which is infuriating the hell out of me.

That doesn't sound like normal performance for your new Charge 6.
Since it's not easy to return the Charge 6 to the place where you bought it, the next option is to contact Support (<-- click link). Complete the prompts until you get the option to chat or call.
You'll need your receipt for the replacement if Support confirms that your device is defective. Maybe your friend can scan the receipt and send it to you.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll contact Support today, however I just looked at the ‘item is ready to collect’ text from the Boots store I got it from, and my id actually bought it on the 20th of February so just out of my 28 days to return policy. I guess my next step is Support.
After reading all the other complaints on here about similar issues with software updates etc., I’m beyond disappointed.
