Calories overbudget

Fitbit charge 6 problem.  Shows calories burned 2300.  Logged food at 1637 but it says calories are overbudget and calories shown are not what I logged and calories burned are not showing correctly either.  Tried all the tri ks. Signed out, shut off Bluetooth, did the reset with the charger and still Food section doesn't  agree with anything else.  What to do?

You could very well be over budget @Ccoregon. You have setup a weight loss plan and fitbit has set a deficit goal. If fibit wants to see a deficit of 700 calories, you now show 663 as a deficit. You would be over budget.

But the day is not over, this deficit will change throughout the day.

No, I am definitely not over budget. It was not totalling correctly. I
know the difference! I ended up rebooting my phone and it finally caught
up, however the issue re-occurs and why, I do not know. All I know is it
is a pain and disappointing to have a device that is not functioning as it
should.

I have read your blog and wondering if you have the answer to a question that I am finding very difficult to get any specific information on.

I would like to reset my calorie burn to Zero when I do a specific exercise so I can monitor what calories have been burned with that specific exercise.

I know the product does an overall calorie burn whether you are sitting standing or asleep but I want to reset it back to zero at different times that I want a correct burn for that particular exercise or activity.

I would love to hear back from you if you can help me.
