Can Charge 6 sync real-time HR with Wahoo Fitness?

ANSWERED

I'm looking to upgrade to the Fitbit Charge 6 & am wondering if it is able to sync real-time heart rate with the Wahoo Fitness App.

On their website Fitbit says it works with a "number of apps & fitness equipment" but I'm wondering if it would specifically be able to be found by the Wahoo app.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wahoofitness.fitness

"Charge 6 is intended to be compatible with fitness equipment/apps that use the Bluetooth Heart Rate Profile.

We tested and confirmed connectivity for the latest models of:

  • iFit (NordicTrack)
  • Peloton equipment and mobile app
  • Concept2
  • Tonal
  • Hydrow and Hydrow Wave
  • Spinning bikes and mobile app
  • Echelon

Your Charge 6 will work with other equipment/apps not listed here, but not all Bluetooth-compatible devices and apps will connect or behave similarly. Additional devices and apps will be added to this list in the future.

works fine, I'm using Fitbit Charge 6 with Wahoo Elemnt. You can add Charge 6 as sensor to get the HR on your Wahoo.

Yes it works with Wahoo but since the latest Fitbit firmware update, I'm having to restart and re-pair it every workout, otherwise it doesn't share the HR.

My Wahoo element is showing that the sensor is connected (Charge 6), but not providing an actual heart rate.any suggestions?

Since the last firmware update, I have to restart my Fitbit every time I want to connect it to an app.  Go to settings on the Fitbit itself and then scroll to reset.  It's annoying but quick to do, at least.  Fitbit have seemingly ignored any other posts about this issue but I'm hoping it will be fixed in a firmware update at some point.

I just can't solve this puzzle.  I was able to get the Fitbit to connect to The Peloton and get another heart rate monitor to connect to the Wahoo, but I can't get the Fitbit to connect and send data to the Wahoo.  Really frustrating.  I'm new to the Fitbit so this is highly disappointing.

scroll down on your fitbit and selct "share HR on equipment". You have to do this evry time when you want to share the HR with wahoo

I have done that. Do you also need to start a workout on the Fitbit?

It should take you to the Start Workout screen on the Fitbit as soon as it connects to your device.

Still a bit of a mystery.  I was able to find an old Wahoo Element and get the Charge to send HR data to it...but it doesn't work on the newer Element that I have.  This one works with another HR monitor I have so for whatever reasons this sensor and this device just don't want to communicate properly.  The Element shows a the connected sensor, but the Charge  never auto-initiates an activity...and starting one manually doesn't seem to work either.  I'm pretty disappointed.

Still problem STILL hasn’t been fixed! Like some of the people above have said, it used to work by resetting the device every time before pairing but that’s no longer the case. Fitbit Charge 6 shows up as “connected” in Wahoo app but no heart rate reading. No combination of resets, repairing etc fixes this…

Super annoying Fitbit, please address this!!

Unfortunately, my previous posts have now been removed because alongside my suggested fixes, I had the audacity to criticise Fitbit, which is apparently off-topic and not contributing to the discussions.

No doubt this post will be removed also so I won't be contributing here any further.
