This may have been covered previously, but when I've tried to extract CVS files from the website, looking for a usable heart rate data by minute so I can calculate my Average Heart Rate for 24 hours, it won't let me. Am I missing something?
Is there a collection of files that would sum to allow for an average Heart Rate to be calculated on any given day?
Is the heart rate data only collected on a 5-minute time stamp? Are there any plans to change this?
I recently had an appointment with a cardiologist who wants the information for clinical purposes (he can cope with a plus or minus error as long as it is consistent). I'm surprised I can't get him this fundamental information.
Thanks in advance.
Any suggestions, or have I just brought the wrong product for this purpose?

Hello @MartinRuffles and welcome to the Community. All Fitbits collect heart rate data on a beat-to-beat basis. Fitbits need this data for the Irregular Rhythm Notifications and High/Low Heart Rate Alerts. The app graph data points are an average over five minutes.
I never downloaded my heart rate data. I can't help you any analysis or how you can calculate your average daily heart rate. The data is available and I hope another user can help you.
