Charge 6 AZM

Since purchasing a Charge 6 and kiving over to Google (had a Luxe till 3 weeks ago) my AZM have plummeted. Comparing 3 walks, the 2 with high AZM are with my Luxe. Walked 8km today and clocked up a grand total of 13 AZM. Why is this?  I used to clock over 1,000 a week. It does seem ok with Hiit training and records OK in these classes but not on a

Looking at the 3rd screenshot that you shared, it looks like the same one as your first screenshot, except it also includes the average heart rate zone tracked during your walk. Seeing that the average heart rate zone was tracked as 98 bpm would indicate to me that your Charge 6 didn't track elevated heart rate during your walk. This would explain why you're seeing a low AZM value.

What does your heart rate graph look like from that walk?

I hadn't looked at this. According to this my heart rate hardly went up. My resting heart rate is currently 72bpm.

@mzshep25   I have a couple observations about your screenshots and experience.

• The Charge 6 and Luxe are two different devices.  They might or might not have the same optical heart rate monitor (OHRM).  Different models have different accuracy, just based on their designs.  Based on Fitbit's Charge 6 advertising -- "our most accurate heart rate" -- I think Fitbit also tweaked the heart rate algorithm in the Charge 6.  I'm not surprised by different results for similar activities.  Other users describe the same thing when they change models.
• I measure in miles.  I converted your Strava metric pace to my imperial pace.  I also converted to speed, since most walkers user speed not pace.  Your 12'06"/km pace converts to 4.96 kph or 3.08 mph.  That is a very leisurely pace.  A VERY leisurely pace.  It's rare for me to get any zone minutes at that pace or speed.  I think your Charge 6 is measuring your heart rate more accurately.
• Your Google migration has nothing to do with your results.

If I read your post correctly, that 9,110 step walk was your 8 km walk.  Even if you rounded the distance, that's a very leisurely walk. too.
