I have seen this mentioned but I have not seen a resolution from Fitbit or another user.
I get a message "Ready to hit your target today?" message popping up many times a day. It is totally meaningless to me as I have exceeded my 10,000 steps goals for several years straight. How can I keep this from popping up and interfering with other data I want to see?
Further, about half the time if you click on the "x" to delete the message it will not delete. You have to swipe the App closed and then reopen it, and, then, sometimes, it still will not work right.
I have been a Fitbit user for about 10 years or more. The App has slowly become worse and worse and is now a total piece of crap - more trouble then its worth.
Please, give us some relief...

@RobertMW That message has nothing to do with your step count, but everything to do with Fitbit's Cardio Load and Target Load feature. Sadly, users get this message even if they don't use the feature. Please vote for and leave a comment on this request in the Product Feedback forum. You can also send feedback in the Fitbit app. Tap on your profile picture in the upper right, then Send feedback.

Hello @MarkMM ,
Please share what you did to "turn off" cardio load in the app so others can do the same.
As far as I know, there currently isn't a way to turn off Cardio Load or the Cardio Target Load in the Fitbit app...yet.

@RiekoC In the app today screen, if you click the pen at the top right. You can toggle off cardio load in the settings (don't forget to hit save at the top right), That's all I did and I'm not getting pop up reminders to hit my goal.

Thanks @MarkMM
As I understand it, using the pencil/edit function on the Today page & tapping Cardio Load means that you no longer see the Cardio Load tile on the Today page. Unless they recently made a change to the app, this doesn't turn off the Cardio Load/Cardio Target Load algorithms.
I'm glad to see that this has been working for you. Thanks again for sharing.

@RiekoC I still get the daily notice on the home screen if I scroll past the fitbit labs stuff, but that's it. I don't consider that annoying pop ups?

Hi @MarkMM
That's the "annoying pop-up" that others are referring to. Like you, I don't consider it annoying. Most of the time, I glance at it, then ignore it.

I have to right scroll past two Fitbit labs notifications to even see it. So it doesn't really bother me

Thanks for the info. However, I just checked and cardio load was already off. Any other thoughts?

Hello @RobertMW
There is a kind of workaround. Some users delete their Cardio Load data in the Fitbit app. This will temporarily stop the "nag" messages. However, the algorithms will continue to gather & process the data to generate the Cardio Load & Cardio Target Load. So, you would have to repeat the process to delete your Cardio Load data about every 2 weeks or so.
If you want to try this, this help page (<-- click) has the steps to delete your Cardio Load data in the Fitbit app. You'll need to turn the Cardio Load tile back on so you can get to the page where you delete your data.
