Charge 6 - Autostart

When walking, not for exercise, watch continually autodetects on my watch, I swipe to done to so I can see the time display and again after walking for ten minutes it repeats this cycle as I continue walking. How to stop the repeated cycles? Once is enough. I cannot see my normal time display when it does this.

@rthomas268 , Thank you for your message. 

After the last firmware update Charge 6, Inspire 3, Sense 2, and Versa 4 can automatically detect certain workouts and open the Exercise app after a few minutes. This new feature is called autostart . To enable/disable this please do as follows. 

  1. On the Charge 6  itself, swipe the display and open the Exercise app.
  2. Tap the Bike, Elliptical, Rowing, Run, Spinning, or Walk option (individually) .
  3. Swipe up. Auto Start is turned on by default, but if you turned it off, tap on it to change the settings. The next time your device detects this workout type, the Exercise app won't automatically opens.
