I just came back from a 4-day trip, and my charge still had 41% battery left after not charging it that whole time. The next day, after charging it fully, it now doesn't last 12 hours. All of a sudden, I can hardly get a full workout without it dying. Tried plugging it in again, and it's not even turning on. This all changed over the course of 2 days. I have changed no settings. It is not in "always" screen mode. It typically lasts almost a week, and now not even a few hours if I am active!.

Hello @Lisa_I24! Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
Thank you for sharing the details about your battery life. I appreciate the information provided.
Please try a restart and charge your Charge 6 plugged to a PC.
Best AnswerHello @Lisa_I24
When my Charge 5 started having rapid battery loss, I restarted and recharged my device multiple times over several days. As soon as I saw a rapid drop in battery, I restarted my Charge 5 and put it on the charger until it was back to 100%, often doing this multiple times in a day. Eventually, this process got my device "unstuck" and the battery went back to lasting 6-7 days. Although there's no guarantee that this will work for your Charge 6, it might be worth a try.

Best AnswerI observed a similar pattern Lisa . Normally My Charge 6 was excellent in functioning for a period and after which I was able to see that it showed different battery levels. For example if I run after a full charge , it immediately dropped to 3 percent showing battery is low. Then when I slowed down it showed a battery 20 percent around. It dangles and I restarted n number of times , reset the device atleast 10 times . But it's of no use. The device shows similar pattern. May be the charge 6 firmware updates are not going to help my charge 6 to get its stability back and I have no option rather than throwing it .
My Charge 6 is doing the same thing almost literally to the day I bought it a year ago. Last week the battery died (I always make sure to charge it as soon as I get a notification having learnt my lesson with the 3 and 5) and when I plugged it in, it jumped from dead to 70% in under 30 mins. I charged it fully and then within 24 hours it discharged again. I charged it fully again and same thing. In less than 24 hours, my battery is dead.
I've just performed the update and now the screen won't even go on without being attached to the charger. I've done the quick and long reset....nothing. Plugged it in again and then it went down to 81% (after it showed 100% 2 min before). Plugged in again and less than 1 min later - 100% again. And now when I connect the charger it shows the fitbit logo and the battery full sign.
Is it safe to assume that my fitbit has given up the ghost almost exactly 1 year later?
Hi, I am having the same issue with the users here! I have ensured that there's battery before my workout and once I started my workout, my Charge 6 went blank! I clicked and clicked and the best it could show was the Fitbit logo and my workout and steps were not captured! After I plugged it to charge, it charged normally! It only works when i am walking but not engaging in any workout! This is the 3rd Fitbit that I am having and all had issues!
