@Mschoen54   Body temperature is for tracking core temperature.  The Charge 6 cannot measure a core temperature.  You can manually log your core temperature from a mouth, ear, or forehead thermometer by tapping on the green '+', then the manually log temperature option.  Certain Pixel phones can measure core temperature and sync with the Fitbit app.

Your Charge 6 doesn't record any data that will appear in that tile.  If you want to monitor your core temperature throughout the day, then you must measure it and log it yourself.

Hello @Mschoen54 and welcome to the Community.  Basal body temperature is a core temperature measurement.  Fitbits can only record a peripheral skin temperature variation.  You skin temperature on your wrist is affected by your environment.  Sorry.

yes, I understand the difference. This new Charge 6 has only been in my wrist for a little more than 24 hours too so may need more data. When that info becomes available on my Fitbit dashboard ( there’s a place for it now but no data), can it adjusted so that I can see hourly temp readings?

Hi @Mschoen54 ! Welcome to the Community ! @LZeeW Thanks for all your support !
@Mschoen54  Thank you for your question regarding temperature measurement.
In order to allow your Fitbit device to estimate your baseline temperature, you'll need to wear your device for at least 3 nights, especially to sleep.
When you wear a compatible Fitbit device to sleep, it checks your skin temperature every minute.
You can find information related to this topic in the next article: How does Fitbit calculate my baseline temperature?
Then, you will be able to see your skin temperature variation and historical data, following the steps shown here.

I hope this serves.

Thanks for the information. I understand that skin temperature is different
from basal body temperature. My Fitbit app has section called Body
Temperature and a message that says no data is available. This is a new
Charge 6 and I have wearing it for 24 hrs, so it may need more data before
I get anything (my assumption). So when several days go by and data begins
to be displayed, can I make an adjustment so that I can see hourly
fluctuations within a 24 hr period?
