We’re excited to announce that a firmware update version 210.26 for Charge 6 has been released to all our members. Some of you might already have this update available. If you installed it, let us know what you think!
We release updates to customers in phases. If you don’t see it, check the Fitbit app in a few days, and you’ll see a message when you can install the update. We appreciate your patience while we get this update to all of our customers.
*Firmware releases are not distributed based on region or location and can reach anyone no matter where you reside. We do not recommend performing a factory reset to force the update to your device as your data will be lost and you may not get the update. Please be patient and wait until you see the update banner inside of the Fitbit app to begin the firmware download.

Unfortunately I think you're right. Just had to do the sync dance again today. I've had a FitBit for more than 10 years and I think this may be the last straw. Google killed a great product.

Well, after the update it doesn't show number of laps of swimming anymore and it doesn't show number of zone minutes my heart rate was in anymore. These information was available when I bought it in July 2024. Please fix these.

I have the latest firmware. However my Fitbit isn’t syncing my runs to the app. The basic data syncs daily. If I go for a walk it automatically picks it up. If specifically tell it to run start stop. It doesn’t record it. Must be something to do with the auto detect. ??

Mine isn't even updated, yet......I'm at version 202.somethingsomething! From the sounds of it, I don't want the update! The battery life was just terrible for a while, but now it seems to be losing battery life a lot slower, again. (I also hate not having the PC dashboard)

After updating my charge6 this morning, the wake feature is suddenly unusable. I cannot change it from manual to anything else. It had no issues prior to the update. I have followed all the steps to try to get it to change this setting, and it is totally unavailable. I cannot change this setting. Please fix the bug and send out another update ASAP.
Anyone else have this happen?

OK, turns out it wasn't the update. After the update, the app wasn't reporting my sleep data, so I turned sleep on thinking that was the issue, but I never turned it off. Sorry everyone. Thanks.

lol I sleept just 7-8 hours this night, went to sleep around midnight. But device somehow thought I went to bed at 20:00. After upgrade everything works worst than before unfortunately.

HELP.
Since the update...my exercises are no longer synced to the app. (iPhone).
It was working quite well, and it suited my needs until the update!!!
I have restarted my Charge6.
I have turned off bluetooth, turned off the phone, restarted the phone.
Should have worked. Didn't.
Please fix this.

NEED HELP! Been with fitbit for 10 years and havent had issues linger for so long. It's been a few weeks without any resolution. First, Peloton activities stopped syncing. Now the fitbit app records more steps than the tracker. How does that happen? Seems pretty basic to just sync tracker data and not add / hallucinate more steps than the tracker itself. And to do this during Apple Watch launch month, it seems like I need to reconsider whether I should stay with fitbit. Incredibly frustrating.

same issue here, just started over counting the last few days, last week it was undercounting. I haven't downloaded the new revision and from what I've read I don't plan to.

Not sure if it's the FitBit update OR IOS 18... but I cannot get it to PAIR and stay PAIRED now. I did clear the cache from your techs advice (now you say NOT to do that - great). I can get it to pair 2x in 30 tries, but loses connection and says I need to "Forget it" and try again... this is ridiculous! Never had this problem before and no response in 3 days how to fix it!

This is just **ahem**. Google killed Charge 6 immediately after releasing Watch 3. I don’t believe this kind of firmware release would be acceptable before Fitbit being bought by Google. Shame.

I downloaded the May 2024 update on my last Charge 6 and it FROZE. After multiple unsuccessful conversations with customer service, they gave me a 50% credit to replace which took 30+ days (even though there were plenty in stock if I were a new purchaser.) My new Charge six is working perfectly so there’s no effing way. I’m downloading this upgrade! I love the software and program, however, I hate the quality and longevity of the watch🤬😡

Mine too - Loses SYNC ALL THE TIME.... last a few hours to a day, then can't find it. Says "forget it and try again"... takes 5-6 tries to sync, then does, then loses it again. I'm about done with FitBit... had them for 8+ years and absolute junk now. Come on Google, you HAVE to be better than this?!

Hello,
I noticed something strange in the new version of the Fitbit app for iOS and Firmware. As can be seen from picture 1, I have 46 minutes of sedentary time in 30 days on average. Still, picture 2 shows that I have no sedentary time at all for a 30 day average. How can that happen? Fitbit is the only one, as far as I know, that measures sedentary time with an average value of 30 days, but then you have to be able to trust the values. Anyone know or have experienced the same thing?
