So, I purchased a Charge 6. In less than a month, this new watch failed on one of the most significant workout days of my life.
I entered a rucking competition (https://www.goruck.com/pages/what-is-rucking). It involved a 10K Ruck with 30 lbs, drills on the beach, and finally, a WOD—around four hours of intense physical activity. For each segment, I set my Charge 6 to the appropriate exercise type.
Upon returning home in the early afternoon, my stats were as pictured below:
Only later that night did I realize that nothing on the screen was changing. The battery was still at 88% which was odd. After several unsuccessful attempts to manually sync the watch with my phone, I am frustrated to report that the above stats from that day of the Ruck are missing.
Though I still wear my device, as it stands, I have no confidence in Fitbit and am seeking an alternative fitness tracking solution.
