Charge 6 Hourly Activity won’t sync

I have a Fitbit charge 6, and my hourly activity won’t sync from the device to the app - I’m missing hours that my charge 6 says I’ve completed.

I’ve troubleshooted via restarting the device, my phone, deleting and redownloading the app, un-pairing and re-pairing the device, changing the hourly activity settings, and it’s still not syncing correctly. Please help!

Hello @annazb412

By any chance, did you look at your steps info in the Fitbit app?

I've had plenty of times when my device says that I completed my hourly step goal. But when I check the app, it shows less than 250 steps for the hour. Now, I check my steps info to confirm that the app shows at least 250 steps for the hour.

You mean like this:

Much like the removal of the ability to edit auto-tracked activities, it would be nice to have the ability to edit this stat as well.

That doesn't surprise me since it's apparently not syncing my hourly steps properly thus resulting in the goal not showing as achieved

Same with my Inspire3. Syncing seems to be less reliable with every app update!

This is an issue for me and it is so frustrating. Did anyone ever get this resolved?

Nope. And yet, they want you to keep buying the products!

That’s so annoying! I can’t believe people have had issues for over 7 months and it still hasn’t been resolved.

Like everyone else, my charge 6 is becoming increasingly unreliable when recording the completion of active hours.  Yesterday, the tracker shows that I completed all 9 hours yet the app gave me credit for 3 -- I had over 20K steps for the day . . .  Today, it's already missed an hour that the tracker recorded as completed.  Yes, I too have hard restarted the tracker, restarted my phone, deleted the app and reinstalled all to no avail.  Even more frustrating - this is a problem that Fitbit has known about for years and yet they fail to produce a fix.  At this point I'm done with Fitbit.  When this charge 6 dies -- they typically last only 24 - 28 months.  I've been using a Fitbit for almost 10 years and my disappointment and frustration with the app is at the breaking point.
