Hi everybody, since yesterday the red light/sensor on the back of my Fitbit charge 6 (updatet firmware, updatet App) does work. So I get no Oxygen saturation data. Any suggestions? Or do I need to return it.

Surprise… everything is working. So for lack of a better idea I guess my threat of replacing the device has worked 😉
Thanks again for your input. Have a lovely sunday

Hello @ruth.day
It's not easy to see the red light sensor during the day since it normally appears at during sleep. How are you able to tell that the red light senor isn't working?
Please let us know what troubleshooting that you've tried so far. Have you already tried restarting your Charge 6?
Just to let you know, there is currently an on-going issue with the SpO2 feature. Please see this thread (<-- click) where the Moderator acknowledged the issue and said that the team is working on a solution.

Hi @ruth.day, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
I would like to help you with the sensors on your Charge 6.
These sensors usually turn on when they are in contact with your skin. If they are unresponsive, try restarting your Charge 6 if you haven't done so:
In addition you can take a look at our help article How do I track blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) with my Fitbit device? > Why didn’t I receive SpO2 data? if you still find trouble with these feature.

Hi Rieko, thanks for your Input. I have tried restarting the device, my phone and deinstalled the app. And separated the device and reainstalled it. I literally followed all the instructions online.
i normally notice the red light flash shortly when I recharge the device. Not today. So I am pretty helpless.

Thanks, David! I tried everything. If there is no change tomorrow I will try to get a replacement. There is no Problem with the o2 App. That is installed and up to last night worked just fine. I am pretty helpless here.🤷🏻:female_sign:

Here is the latest update. Got a replacement from Amazon (where I bought it). This too is showing saturation only sporadically. Which is an isse I never had with my old charge 4. My guess it is just a Charge 6 Problem. Since I have emphysema and the saturation is the most relevant data for me I am returning the device for good. I was very happy with fitbit but things have changed. Thank you for your input and stay fit!
