Charge 6: Run Laps not tracking properly

I ran 1.5 miles, but Fitbit showed pace laps for 3 one mile laps

Did you use the Exercise App? If so, did you define what a lap is?

My charge 6 won't track my walk correctly. I ran a distance of over 21km and it recorded just over 17km. Also, I no longer see the pace (time per kilometer) instead it just gives me an arbitrary pace. I have had this fitbit for just about 7 months

My Fitbit tracks more laps than what  I ran

I enable the GPS to track my runs and the same route I take gives me different miles each and every day.  Depending on how fast my pace that day, I find it logs more miles and less if I'm slower.
