Charge 6 Stopped Syncing

My Charge 6 stopped syncing this morning.  It has always synced just fine and I had no problems until this morning.  (As a note, I do not keep my Bluetooth on all the time.  I usually turn it on and sync about three times a day.)  I always sync first thing in the morning, and it just would not sync this morning.  I went through all the troubleshooting steps multiple times, and still it would not sync.  Finally decided to uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app (which I really didn't want to do, knowing it would require re-pairing).  To no great surprise, after reinstalling, it now won't pair either.  When trying to get it to pair after the reinstall, it continues to give the same message: "There was an error while trying to bluetooth pair your device.  Would you like to try again?"   
I contacted support via chat, and the rep said that it's a known issue that the app is having difficulties with syncing data, etc. right now, and that they are working on it.  But I feel like if it was really a widespread issue and no one could sync/pair today, then this forum would already have a lot more people complaining that they can't sync and the Fitbit Reddit sub would be blowing up as well.  So I don't know what to think.  Is anyone else having issues syncing today?
For reference, I have an Android phone... not sure if that matters.

My charge six failed to communicate with my android phone last week, thought it was Fitbit Bluetooth as did Argos who exchanged it. New Fitbit will not connect to phone.

The application has a number and release date.  The last version released was Oct 29.

I know, I'm very annoyed with everything that's been going on for the last
3 weeks for me. Not happy with the service since Google took over.

About 5:20pm etc I was able to get one update (Active minutes)on app. I tried again and on third try all data showed up on app!! I tried again anit seems to be working fine, keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm glad to see that for some of you the issue has improved, and I appreciate the feedback from those who are still affected. 
I've informed our team about the developments described here. 
If any of you got an error message, please attach a screenshot to your reply, so that I can pass it to our team for their investigation . Please also clarify if the error appears when trying to sync or to set up (pair)the device.

 I try to pair my charge 6. I get the error message in the first picture. Then it gets stuck on the second picture, trying to find the charge 6. Bluetooth is on. Restarted phone and charge 6. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Still not working.

I have 428.2. When I go to Bluetooth on android, turn off then turn back on. Wait for it to find charge 6, then pair. It takes awhile but after four tries it worked. Each time the same process. It sometimes says an app is needed but it connected anyway.

Exactly what I get, error message after about 10 seconds then it shows continual searching when I hit "Try again".

Seems the issues started with the firmware update and migrated through the app.  Don't really know what Google is doing in the background or what info and data they are collecting,  but if they think this will drive Fitbit users to their devices, they are not going to be happy....  I like the small form factor of the Firbit charge and dislike the bulky sport watch.  Amazon and Garmin are looking better.

I have just updated 4.28.3 and eventually got everything to work. Give it time and be patient. If this type of situation happens again I will ditch fitbit and buy a Samsung. Thanks for getting it sorted at last.

Just tried the 4.28.3 version - no luck- won't pair with the charge 6.  Samsung A10e running Android 11.   My android tablet is still on version 4.14 and has no issues with pairing.  Looks like another sideload session is upcoming...😒😒

Back to square one! No data today. Tried over a half dozen times to reset with no luck. App says my charge 6 is connected, just no data. Still 428.2

Hey all!  Version 3 is up.  Uninstall version 2, install 3.  Restart your phone.  As I had tried to pair with Bluetooth it didn't recognize the App.  But open the App.  Try to synchronize.  It will and it took a while to catch up.  You'll be asked if you wish to pair with Bluetooth.  This version works now!

I just installed 4.28.3, restarted my Android phone, "forgot' my Charge 6 in the app then re-paired with it. It took a while for the pairing code to come up then it paired quickly. It took about 10 minutes for the syncing to take place but there is still one issue:

All my data between 21 October and 30 October is missing. This is either because it hasn't been transferred successfully or the Charge 6 has lost the data when I "forgot" the Charge 6.

Either way it's not good.
