My Charge6 does something strange. When I tap the screen it looks normal for a bit, but then the battery indicator pops down like in the picture. Is this normal?

That means your battery is low. It is 1 of 4 possible "Status Indicators" that might appear at top of screen. They will disappear after 3 seconds.
If you never want to see these, you can turn them off in Settings.

Thanks for the response. It looks weird, so I turned “status tray” under “settings” - “display settings” off.

@Lord_Octomore You chose to turn them off and that is your choice. But your indicator is saying that your battery is critically low. Letting your battery get critically low is known as a deep discharge in the battery world. This will shorten your battery lifespan if you do this regularly. Many sites say don't let it go below 25%.
