Charge 6 will not sync with iOS device unless app is open in the foreground constantly. Firmware up to date on both devices, Charge 6 was new out of the box bought direct from Fitbit.
Fitbit themselves are aware of the issue, but won't confirm how long it has been ongoing and have resulted to leaving an AI to answer my emails.

Do not buy a Charge 6 until this is resolved.

Let me help you with the syncing issues you are experiencing syncing your Charge 6 to your Fitbit app on your iOS mobile.
Just to clarify, data automatically syncs to your Fitbit app throughout the day when the app is open or running in the background. Each time you open the Fitbit app, your device syncs automatically when it's nearby.
Your device won't sync if the Fitbit app is closed. This is an expected behavior.

I started getting sync problems this morning after a Fitbit App update Did the regular Bluetooth stuff but no help until I went into my phone's device connection screen and "forgot" my Charge 6. Then I re-paired it through my Fitbit app. Now I sync like a charm.
