Hi,
I have had the Fitbit charge 6 for nearly 2 weeks and yesterday the screen went blank and had at least 20% battery still. I tried to charge it but nothing is coming up on the screen. when I plug the charger into the Fitbit it vibrates, also if i push the button on the side of the watch it vibrates.
I have followed the steps by switching to different plug and still no luck and I have tried multiple times to reset the device via the charger button (pushing 3 times in 8 seconds) As well as pulling the cable in and out of the plug to hard reset it but still no luck.
Is there a way to do a hard reset of the device via the button? Phone will not find or sync to the device either as it says the battery is low.
Also to add i have tried cleaning the back of the watch charging inlet as well as the charger itself.

Best AnswerMy fourth( warrranty return) charge 6 will not charge or turn on. Black screen again. I had it working for 3 months to 13 May 2026
My third( warranty return) charge 6 had a grey screen and would not respond. It stopped working in mid January 2026
My second (warranty return ) charge 6 had a blank white screen and would not charge mid October 2025 to January 2026.
My first, Amazon, Charge 6 had a blank white screen and would not function although it lasted from April 2025 to October 2025.
My initial , London Drugs, Charge 6 developed a blank black screen. I returned and received my refund in March 2025 after SIX WEEKS operation.
My only Fitbit Charge 4 lasted from 2016 to late 2024- 8 YEARS - as battery would not charge.

It doesn't matter, if it breaks a day after the warranty expires - you're on your own. Who can afford to replace it every year?! It's ridiculous when you consider the charge 4 lasted years for most people.

So you use something else instead? I'm sick of replacing the charge 6 - or worse, having to fork out for a new one
