I see others are having this problem as well. My new Charge 6 will not stay connected to Bluetooth. Is there some ‘fix’ that can be installed? Or what should I do?

Hi @Outdoorgal1956. Welcome to the forums.
Thank you for sharing the details about Charge 6. I'm sorry to know this difficulty.
Please try the following steps in order to avoid this situation:
With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Charge 6 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

When you say it won't stay connected to Bluetooth, could you please expand on what you mean by this? Once you pair the watch with your phone, does it sync to the Fitbit application when you pull the app screen down to sync it?
I am ask because there's having your watch paired with your phone, and then there's having it connected. You should not expect your watch to talk to your phone constantly. It only connects when it needs to exchange information with the Fitbit application.
Also what's this new app you are talking about? It's it separate from the Fitbit app?

I am having this issue also. I don't get my call and text notifications half the time because the tracker disconnects from the Bluetooth. And forcing the sync does not always initiate the "reconnect". Hoping Fitbit has a fix coming soon. It's quite annoying.

I am so over it. I have disconnected everything , reinstalled and did what I was told to do. Still doesn’t work.

Whenever this happens to me (notifications not coming to the tracker), I just restart the Charge 6 and it starts working again. Syncing from the app never helped me in this case. But if you've gone through the whole process ManuFitbit posted, then I would hazard a guess the unit's defective.

Have the same problem, only solution so far is to restart my phone to reconnect the Fitbit Charge 6. Doesn't work till then. I mean even $10 cheap Chinese watches do better. Why are such acrobatics necessary? What a waste of time and money.

LMAO. STILL have thing issue and now I have the iPhone 16 Pro Max, so really Google/FitBit has NO excuse as to why the Bluetooth would keep dropping.
