Coming from pebble and still missing a lot of basic functionality that pebble was able to provide, but fitbit/google are still somehow failing on it.
So, putting aside the crappy notifications about low battery - what a non-sense to notify at 20% and be done, until your watch is dead and you need to call support to figure out how to activate it. Why not to have this info on the screen ALL the time + provide more notifications.
Ignore the fact that there is still not display that is able to show all that info on one face - date, time, battery, steps and HR.. I really do not care for your colorful display. I want it rather functional than colorful.
But the biggest thing is the notification management. My big reason to have a smart watch is to have notifications not missed from my phone. There is no indicator on the phone face saying that I missed a call or a message. WHY? This is really missing and must be added.
I already missed phone calls from my kid's school. Not acceptable. Because my watch was on Do Not Disturb, so it completely ignores whatever is going on without giving the user any information about this. Not ok. Unreasonable. If you want to be a smart watch, I think you do, you should have notifications on the watch face about missed calls or messages. Please please please add. I like the shape of the watch otherwise and most of its functionality. But this is going to be a deal breaker and I dont' want to be on the market for yet another pebble match.
Thank you!

I don't understand, phone notofications on your phone, are independent of fitbit, and definitely have nothing to do with any fitbit hardware. Now if you want help with your phone, is it an Android or iOS phone?
As for giving a 20% warning, this gives you a heads up that you should start thinking about setting a time to charge the tracker. Knowing that I can still get through the remainder of the day, I prefer 20% over say 5% and happen to be 5 hours before I'll have access to the charger, with 30 minutes before the watch goes into power save mode and stays dark.
Having a dead battery only requires the user to put the Charge 6 on its powered charger.. Once the battery gets charged enough, the watch will turn itself on. No need to call to support is needed. If the battery has been dead for a while, it may take some time before the watch turns on.
I have an android phone, if I miss a call, there is always a notification of this found in the notification panel. As for something else on the home screen, this would be a function of the phone app, not fitbit. Fitbit is responsible to get the notification onto your wrist.
Yes having the watch on DND will keep the watch from disturbing you. Did this keep the phone from ringing when a call came in? It should not have

I don't mind the 20%, I say - there should be more. Like now - it told me in the morning and I totally forgot about until I saw this post. Charging now.
In the past, once it dies, it would take me like 3 days to charge it make it operational again. Now I contacted support and learned some trick to reset it, but it is annoying.
Re: notifications: I do not want to be attached to my phone. That's why I have the watch that forwards notifications for me. That worked perfect with pebble, but does not work with fitbit. If I missed a call while I am in do not disturb, or an important message, I would love to see it on my watch until I dismiss it. However, it is not the case. There is zero indication on the watch. And this requires me to pay attention to my watch non-stop. It is annoying. My phone consumption significantly increased since my last pebble died. And this is because I cannot rely on the smart watch for a basic notification about a missed call or missed message.
