The device itself remains unresponsive. I’ve left it on the charger for hours hoping it would wake up, but nothing happens. I’ve also tried restarting it by holding the button (as suggested in troubleshooting guides), but again, no luck. It’s as if the device has just completely shut down, and no amount of charging or resetting seems to fix it.
The most frustrating part is that it started 4 days ago showing a low battery percentage in the app, but the device isn't responding to any input or even showing signs of charging properly. I thought it might be a minor glitch or a temporary issue, but it's been more than a full day, and I’m starting to feel like this is a major malfunction.
I can't update the app, because my fitbit is not charging or responding.

Hey mate
Mine is stuck on the blue fitbit logo.
Yesterday the phone app said the battery was 4% and there was a pending firmware update.
I think our devices may have been bricked with a failed update.

The app says i need to update it, but the watch is not responding at all, so I can't update it...
It's very frustrating, it's been a week already, and nothing seems to help. I already clean it and the charger, changed the charger head... everything and nothing happens...

Hi there @alexandragr and @shanen_au! A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!
Thank you so much for letting us know that your Charge 6's are remaining unresponsive despite all the efforts made.
Please try to restart your trackers this way:
Try to update the Fitbit app in the App store or Google Play Store before trying to update your devices.
Follow the steps from this article: Why can't I update my Fitbit device?

I am having the same issue. Am not sure whether there was an issue with the battery percentage data in the app, as I didn't really check the in-app battery indicator prior to this problem starting yesterday.
My Charge 6 screen won't turn on, it does not vibrate when connected to the charger, but the unit vibrates when I press the button on the side. Pressing the button 3 times for 1 second at a time does not restart it, nor does using the button on the flat part of the charger. I've had Fitbit Charge trackers for years and have never had this issue. Really frustrating!
I've run out of things to try...

Update: I connected my Fitbit to the charger, and it didn't vibrate like normal, never the less, because it was attached to the charger it let me do the latest software update (it wouldn't when disconnected from the charger because the battery was at 18%). I let it do the software update and now it has started working as per normal. Prior to doing the update I did change the clock style (as I read online that some people do this as a solution if their charge software locks up). I am only adding this information as I'm not sure if it was a factor in getting my charge to start working again. I'll post updates here if there are any further issues.

Hello @EumirDS
Thank you for your update and explaining what you did to get your Charge 6 working again. This could help other users who are dealing with a similar issue.

Hi,
Thanks, it actually work, my charger doesn't have the botton, so i had to connect and disconnect the tracker around 8 times.
Can you tell us why this happened? And if it might happen again?
Regards,

Hi there @alexandragr! Thank you for your answer and for your efforts.
It could happen for example, when your device has a firmware update pending. Restarting the Fitbit helps so it can react again.
I suggest you check in the Fitbit app if you can update your device and check if you can update the Fitbit app too.
