Charge 6 no longer tracking workouts

I've had my Charge 6 for about three months. 

I use it to track my workouts – lifting weights in the gym, running, climbing, etc. Today, suddenly all my non-walking activities/workouts started disappearing from the Fitbit app. As I moved back through the weeks, they would briefly appear and disappear. I have now lost weeks of workouts. However, bizarrely, all the walking activities remain!

I went to the gym today, tracked the workout as usual by starting the activity on the watch, completed the workout, and synched the Fitbit with my phone. The workout just disappeared, and Fitbit said I had 0 exercise for the day. I just went for a walk and it logged the walk perfectly.

I have tried updating the Fitbit, restarting the Fitbit, restarting my phone, looking on the browser dashboard on my laptop. Nothing. I just want to log my workouts!

Can anyone help or advise?

I'm seeing other Charge 5 & 6 users reporting a similar issue with their completed workouts disappearing from their Fitbit app.

I'm going to see about escalating this issue and will report back if I get an update.

I have had the same issues, could see all my tracked gps runs from previous weeks this morning. This evening I have synced my app and no runs show the gps map! Weeks of data lost! Hope fitbit can reslove this, seems to be an issue all the time.

Now I have even lost step tracking in addition to activities tracking. Guess I will be shopping for an I watch.

I just lost my calories burnt too! Not great losing data when training for a half marathon, I like to see all the stats now I have nothing. It's got to be a software/update issue. I have signed out, signed in, cleared cache, restarted phone and watch, nothing has worked. Been with fitbit since 2017 nothing but issues with this charge 6

Thanks for explaining it's not the watches I just wish they would sort it out.

I spoke with someone this morning, and they basically said they’re aware of the issue and are working on a fix! They couldn’t give me any sort of time line! Helpful as always!

My tracked exercises have just come back! Maybe you should re-sync and check again!

My exercises are there but without the gps/map amd other stats.

I am having issues as well. I have had issues with the Charge 6 for about 6 months. I think this is finally it for me and I will be switching products! Such a bummer.

My workouts are back on the app. Guess the glitch is fixed.

My workouts reappeared very briefly last night. When I woke up again this morning, they had all disappeared again!

I've also noticed issues with step counts syncing with the app, and with the watch autodetecting walks when I had it set not to.

I can see some of my gps tracked runs/walks however when I look my on some weeks no data is there! Lost data for July, May saying I didn't track anything when I know I did! So it's still not completely fixed

Same for me. I saw some of them yesterday but this morning they were gone. Also my walk this morning is not showing up.

Mine came back yesterday and are still here this morning. Hope yours are fixed soon.

So frustrating, my workouts were back yesterday late afternoon and now they are all gone again! So everything I busted my arse for this morning won’t be logged FML.

Like you, I have experienced many instances of what I now call FFS (FitBit Frustration Syndrome)  Problem is that there is apparently no cure for it!  I already googled it!!!  😔

I suspect there's an issue at the back end/server side.

Yesterday, I experienced an issue similar to you have seen where the additional details for my completed workouts disappeared from the Fitbit app. I actually watched the data disappear from the app for one of my workouts that I completed last week. However, it seemed like it got resolved later in the evening and all my details were back for all my completed workout. I've been periodically checking the Fitbit app and can see my workout details.

Please let us know if your workouts/details have re-appeared. If they haven't, I will try to escalate the issue again.
