I've had my Charge 6 for about three months.
I use it to track my workouts – lifting weights in the gym, running, climbing, etc. Today, suddenly all my non-walking activities/workouts started disappearing from the Fitbit app. As I moved back through the weeks, they would briefly appear and disappear. I have now lost weeks of workouts. However, bizarrely, all the walking activities remain!
I went to the gym today, tracked the workout as usual by starting the activity on the watch, completed the workout, and synched the Fitbit with my phone. The workout just disappeared, and Fitbit said I had 0 exercise for the day. I just went for a walk and it logged the walk perfectly.
I have tried updating the Fitbit, restarting the Fitbit, restarting my phone, looking on the browser dashboard on my laptop. Nothing. I just want to log my workouts!
Can anyone help or advise?

Hello @mayfieldjd @Petunialilly
Thank you for letting me know that your data appeared then disappeared again.
They could still be working on the issue. If so, it may take another day or so to get everything working right. As I mentioned, I think the problem is in the back end/server side.

Thank you. I hope they fix the issue but it is nice to know that my data is still in my tracker and will eventually be visible on the app.

I am having the same issue. What other watches out there do people like? Google seems to have run this company into the ground. Mine is only a month old so I plan to return it. It had also stopped recording miles before I lost the data.

That is too strange that we are all having this issue. Maybe they will figure this one out that it’s their system and not our watches that are the problem. Hope it gets fixed. All my rock climbing workouts for 4 years have disappeared. My walks and elliptical workouts are all in there. It just deleted rock climbing today.

I have this same issue. I do have another exercise app I use and I had considered going in and adding each one again based on that other app but it’s about 4 years worth lost. That would take me forever. It has deleted all of my rock climbing work outs. I think it must not have affected my calorie count though in losing credit for those workouts because I’m not noticing that I ate more food than my calories burned. Usually I try to stay pretty close to eating same # calories as amount I burn. I think you said it looked like your calorie count burned didn’t change by losing your work outs. Did I read that right?

My whole calorie count disappeared on Wednesday but it came back. I think it looked about right. My miles weren't matching up on the app to the watch. I went running this morning gps tracked and it's tracked on the app still. I went back through alot of my weeks and the data is there now, just took a while to load. Everyone seems to be having issues. It will probably go missing again 🙄

Hi there , I have a charge 6 and when i start the workout on the tracker is works fine when completed it shows stats on the watch , but it wont show on the app. It shows the HR in the section and all other data but not showing the exercise logs. Ive tried everything on the forums that ive seen. all sleeptime date fine, HR section i can see the workout spikes on the graph but that is the only place to see it. Again on the tracker when im done I can see the stats and when i hit done on the tracker it goes away and DOES not transfer to the app on iphone to see it, so annoying any suggestions?
Thanks

I'm having the same problem with the app on my Android phone as well. And we no longer have the online dashboard to confirm the data was recorded. The exercise tile shows on the app but it is blank.

App still not working right. Workouts are missing. The weird thing is that the T and F for the days of the week are actually missing too.

I agree it's still not working correctly. This morning i tracked my walk but it doesn't show up on the app. and i keep getting messages that it can't sync with my Charge 6. I have reset everything several times.

I am having the same issue. I’ve restarted, reloaded, etc. This just happened this week. Did something happen over Labor Day? Maybe an update went wild or something?

I just got my Charge 6 a month ago, and the app started losing my data a few days ago as well. I sometimes see conflicting information on the screen, such as “5 exercise days this week” next to “You have not logged any exercise.” I have used the Fitbit to track daily workouts since I got the device, but the calendar view shows no exercise days for the last week of August. When I try to look at data for days that ARE marked as exercise days, it says nothing was logged.
Does anyone from Fitbit ever read and respond to these posts? I haven’t been able to find a place to connect with tech assistance for either the device or the app—I just keep getting directed back to the community forum, or asked for non-specific feedback. I appreciate knowing that my problem isn’t unique—misery loves company—but that knowledge doesn’t solve the problem of the expensive device+app not working as advertised.

Hello @MrUnix @SKMcDowell
Regarding your exercise data, I looked at the Fitbit Status Dashboard website and saw that there was an issue with the Web API starting around the beginning of September. This impacts data syncing and is apparently the reason why we're having problems with seeing our exercise data in the Fitbit app. The current status is still showing the Web API issue as of today, 06 Sep 2024. So, they must still be working on fixing the problem.
Please be patient. I'll keep checking the status daily. Hopefully, it won't be too much longer before it's fixed and we see all our exercise data again.

Thank you. I have been copying the exercise data from the watch to input in my fitness pal. I also manually input workout data for activities that I don’t actually track on the watch such as a round of golf. Those manually entered activities are being retained in the app.
