Welcome back to the Fitbit community, @raleighfit!

Please have a closer look at 'Why don't I see sleep stages today?' following the link below to hopefully get better results on sleep tracking:

What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?

Thank you, I have read this multiple times. I've tried everything (force
stop, clear cache, restarting app and phone, tighter fit higher on my arm,
left arm, right arm, etc.). Still no sleep stages. I had the same problem
with the Fitbit Charge 5

I deleted user data on my Charger 6 and I didn't get sleep stages. I think I have tried everything.

Hi @raleighfit @JandenH, good to see you participating in the community.

Thank you for sharing the details regarding the difficulty experienced regarding sleep.

Even though you mentioned that you tried many steps, please confirm the following: you must see sleep stages in order to see a sleep score. There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

If you see sleep stages but don’t see a sleep score, please note that it may take a few minutes for your sleep score to appear. In addition, for better results please try to let the device detect that you're awake or asleep by itself rather than doing it manually and make sure to keep the Fitbit app and the devices' firmware updated to the latest version available.

The Versa 4 may need some days to collect some information (particularly regarding to heart rate) and provide sleep score, sleep stages and other data. Make sure that you've also tried the restart procedure described here and check if you continue to experience the same difficulty.

Thanks @Talahthas for assisting.

I am seeing time asleep, restless, and awake but no sleep stages

I am having the same issue.  The last update fixed the problem for about a week and now it is back doing the same thing.  No sleep score or stages and no breathing rate data or heart variation rates.  It does track heart rate just fine, green light is on and I have did everything under the sun to try and fix this.  I have about reached my limit.  Like I said last update fixed the problem for about a week, now it's right back to the same exact problem.

Last night I got sleep stages and score wilh my Charge 6. First time in weeks. Didn't do anything different. I've also tried everything including wearing it on my right arm and the underside of my left arm.
