Charge 6 not showing GPS of my activities in app

I upgraded from Fitbit Charge 5 to Fitbit Charge 6, but I don't see the map of the route for my walks anymore in the Fitbit app on my iPhone. I can see my older activities using Charge 5 still have the map of the route in the app.  I checked that the Location is "Always on" in the settings for the app on the iPhone and the Charge 6 is set to "Dynamic" under the GPS setting. How do I fix it so the Fitbit is tracking my walks on the map with Charge 6? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I'd be interested to know as I'm having the exact same issue!

@willckho make sure the GPS is on for Walk activity in the activity settings (not quite sure but it may be off by default):

I found the Dynamic and Built-In GPS modes very poor and eventually, I started using Phone mode. Dynamic and Built-In could acquire GPS signal but then disconnected for some reason and the watch has given up trying to reconnect. I tried several times and no success so I fell back to 'Phone' mode.

Thank you so much, I think you may have solved my issue. I'd switched between all modes and it still hadn't worked so checked this setting and it was off. Thank you!

I'm having the same problem. I recently bought the Charge 6 and don't get the map of my walks like I used to. I always carry my IPhone with me.

That was my problem. - I had spent so much time trying to figure out what
was going on before I actually looked at the Walk app on my Charge 6.
Pressing on the walk and scrolling down rather than pushing start got me to
the GPS setting and it was not activated so turned it on. - Problem solved. *I
am disappointed that the route map doesn't display street names though*. I
have an android phone, My wife has an "Apple" phone and her route map shows
the street names

Thanks for the tip. Went for a walk after doing this and it missed the first part of my walk on the map. Any ideas? Was only a short walk to test it haha

When you select an exercise, (and before you press the start icon) you
should be able to see the app showing that it is searching for GPS. If you
press the start icon before GPS is loaded, GPS won't start working until
the app is loaded which is why you may miss the first little part of your
journey. If you wait until GPS has loaded before pressing the start icon
you won't miss out on that information.
