Charge 6 not syncing with the app

Everyday I have issues with the charge 6 and the app. It stopped syncing sometime yesterday (fitbit watch showed over 9000 steps the last sync showed 7000)

Today no steps, cant sync. Tried syncing on the PC, nope, on  the app , nope. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app..nope.  The watch shows my steps, but the app, and PC do not

And this not syncing is a DAILY thing, I am just over this charge 6.

I should have bought an apple watch argh

frustrating

Hi,
The sync worked for me after I rebooted my Pixel phone. This happened again
after some time and again got resolved by phone reboot.

Thank you,

I had the exact same issue.  When I clear my data on the charge 6, losing what was not synced, it is able to be paired again.  The app then asks me to use a "more secure Bluetooth connection" which is pairing with my phones Bluetooth just as any other Bluetooth device.  After doing this a couple of times, I unpaired the Bluetooth on my phone, just using the sync through the app, and have had no issues.  It still prompts me to connect with my phones Bluetooth, which I simply ignore and have full functionality.

Small update:  i found two Fitbit Charge 6 in the bluetooth devices list.   i think a new one got there after the update or something, because i never repaired my device.   after removing one of them it is working alot better

I also get regular problems. Don’t know why they have changed the look either. The Fitbit was fine till Google took it over.

Never had these problems with Fitbit. Since Google took it over it’s one problem after another. I can’t sync mine. Tried all suggestions and more. Of and by the way, I hate it’s new app look so bland and unappealing. Much preferred it prior to Google. All they have done is screwed it up.

Mine too. I have deleted the app, reinstalled it. Tried manually nothing. I am about ready to throw it away

I have had it happen twice but know the fix.  The support person helped in the Live Chat. Disconnect Bluetooth. Restart Charge 6 by going to Settings, Find Restart, Confirm Restart (will not erase data) Wait for Reboot. Reconnect Bluetooth

Also can’t remember the exact steps, but connect Charge 6 to its power cable and then I think press both sides 3 times with a few seconds and do a  pause in between of each press.  It reboots.
