Screen has gone black , will not respond to touch. Battery life is 3-4 hours. Have tried reboot but screen is black. But, app still collects information from tracker !

I'm having a similar situation, this is my second Fitbit charge 6, both have done the same.
Mine was still collecting information until someone suggested to remove and add again but you can't pair it again with the phone if you can't see the code on the fitbit device so now, I'm not even recording data.
The two of them have failed after swimming.
I've rested many times, change screen and everything I've read in the forum, after 8 years with Fitbit, I think is time to move on.
