My Versa 2 battery went out so I'm trying to replace it. I decided to purchase a Fitbit Charge 6, but then I learned that Google Pixel watches do the same activity/health tracking. If that is true, which Google Pixel is similar to the Fitbit, and would you recommend doing that?
Thanks!

@Lindy347 Pixel Watches have the same health and activity features as Fitbits. You use the same Fitbit app and the Fitbit account that you already have. All your historical data will still be there and will carry on into the future, just like if you purchased a new Fitbit.
The Pixel Watch has a lot of smart features that Fitbits do not have. If you are interested in those features, the Pixel Watch is a great choice, especially if you also have a Pixel Phone.
If you're mainly interested in health and activity tracking, Charge 6 may be a better choice. The Pixel Watch doesn't have the battery life of a Fitbit. It needs daily charging and not everyone can find time to do that. My Pixel Watch has died a few times in the middle of the work day because I forgot to put it on the charger while I was getting ready that morning.
So, it really depends on what smartwatch features you want and if you're willing to sacrifice battery life for them. They're both really good devices, so there isn't a "wrong" choice.
As for which Pixel Watch to choose... If you're a runner, the Pixel Watch 3 has some nice features for runners and the larger watch has a better battery life. You may be able to go two days, if you're careful with battery usage. If you're not a runner, the Pixel Watch 2 is just as good and probably less expensive now.

Hello @Lindy347
I'm another Pixel Watch user. Started with the Pixel Watch 2 and currently using the Pixel Watch 3.
As @alexthecat mentioned, the Pixel Watches have a lot more features than the Charge 6. You can install 3rd party apps on the Pixel Watch, which you can't do on a Charge 6. You can also make & receive calls on the Pixel Watch whereas the Charge 6 only provides notifications for calls & texts.
It would be worth the time to look at the features of the 3 devices and see which one will meet your needs the best.
Just to let you know, the Made by Google event is scheduled for 20 Aug 2025. Rumor is that they will be announcing the Pixel Watch 4 at the event. That likely means that the Pixel Watch 2 & 3 could be going on sale when the new watch is announced.
