Welcome to the Fitbit community, @KazzaR64!
Sad to hear that you're having an issue charging your Charge 6.
Though you've mentioned to already having tried some things which are recommended, please take your time and have a closer look here to really eliminate any possible reason causing this in your case:
Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
You might also try restarting your device to see if that will resolve your issue. Before doing so you should verify that the charging contacts on your device are clean and the charging pins on it's charging adapter are clean as well and can move flawlessly. In doubt please have a look here:
How do I clean my Fitbit device?
Next please closely follow these instructions as timing is crucial for this procedure:
1.) Connect your Charge 6 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a reliable power source.
2.) Press the button located on the flat end of the charging cable 3 times within 8 seconds(!), holding each press for about 1 second(!).
3.) Wait around 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on your device's display.
I'd like to point out that it sometimes requires more than one attempt to restart Charge 6. So, before throwing the towel, please give it another try.
I'll keep my fingers crossed.

@KazzaR64 It could be a charger problem. The stock charger that Charge 6 comes with is really bad. Even when the charger works it often stops charging because the magnet is too weak to hold to the device. Many times, I left Charge 6 charging and came back to empty battery. What solves the problem for me is a third-party charger with better quality than then original one. Worth checking if it's charger-related.

I have the same problem. Bought the Charge 6 on January 1, 2024... so it is not even 6 months old.
Went through all of the troubleshooting, cleaning, rebooting (a few times), etc. It will not charge and will not turn on anymore.
Hopefully other people will post so we can start to see a trend here.

Since you've done the recommended troubleshooting without success, the next step would be to contact Fitbit support (<-- click link). Complete the information and continue to get to the section that gives you the options for contact. If your device is confirmed to be defective, support should let you know what are your options under warranty.

Same here…. Bought in december 2023… and won’t charge for the last 3 days…. Tried cleaning both the Watch and charger…. Tried the button trick…. No result…. From my experience with the fitbit watches is that they usually last at least 2 years…. This is new and disappointing…

Like others on this thread, I also have issues charging my Charge 6 which is only 3 months old!. The magnet doesn't attach well. I can leave the tracker on charge for 2 days but it still isn't charged.

What should you do after those 3 steps?
The logo appears briefly but disappears immediately.
Then what?
Thanks in advance

That's the same issue I am having. The logo flashes for about 2-3 seconds then screen goes blank again.
Supremely disappointed considering how much money I paid for this thing just 6 months ago.

Mine has the logo do the same thing, but that was when I first put it on the charger and assumed it was charging. It was only when I took it off hours later that I realized it was dead. They say we need to contact Fitbit.

What third party charger did you buy

Not sure. Walmart. Also tried using the slots on my ..power center? Those things where you can plug in several things, including what's that connection called, a c-charge end like you pug into your phone. I don't know these terms.

Mime was gift in August ‘24! Mostly changed from charge 3 because of charging problems - was hoping it wouldn’t be the case with the new one but it’s even worse. Very very dissapointed

this worked! Also plugged into a wall socket, cleaned the pins and did a little "please work!" dance. Soooooo happy! It's less than a year old so was getting a bit bummed that it had packed it in already. I had a charge 2 that lasted well past it's useby date so was hoping the 6 would do the same.

I had a similar problem with the Charge 6 not charging. I discovered it was the USB charger I was using did not work. I think it's because the fitbit draws such a small amount of current it does not turn on the charger. Tried another USB charging plug and it worked fine.
