So I have just been on the live chat to Fitbit as my second brand new device this week, was not displaying my heart rate on my device. All settings were switched on, the ECG function was working, it had been rebooted etc, all of the recommended instructions were followed.
The agent on live chat has just told me that the reason it is not displaying my heart rate, is because I have arm hair. Which is insane?!? I paid £140 for a fitness tracker, that is stumped by arm hair?!

If it wasn't reading heart rate, it couldn't perform ECG. Check phone app for heart rate recording to verify it is/was just a display problem.

It is reading it, because the ECG is working and the data is displaying on the phone app.
I've been trying to get a resolution for 3 days and just found it mad that customer service just said it was because of my arm hair.
My girlfriend tried it on and it displayed her heart rate instantly.

I've also noticed it's not displaying my sleep either.
