Did you mean:

Charge 6 won't sync

ANSWERED

New update-Will not sync after 2 days.

I've gone through every step and I'm down to the last resort of factory resetting it but I don't want to lose the info it gathered.

Anyone else get to that point??

Or how did you resolve your issue?

My experience is similar. All of sudden sync ends, nothing works. I bought a new device hoping it would help, but same problems with sync and app non-function. Sadly, this is the new consumer technology experience. Unimpressed by one of the largest providers of globally of tehnical tools.

Did you try to restart the tracker itself by pressing the button on the
plug in end of the charger three times? This must be done while charging
the tracker. If the Fitbit logo does not appear on the tracker, it did not
reset. It may take a few tries until it does. It took me three tries before
it worked, but this was the only thing that worked for me! I found it on
YouTube and nothing that FitBit suggested worked at all!! Good luck!!

I have spent HOURS over 3 or 4 days following every video and reply I could find. It gets to the point where I can try to do the swipe-down thing to sync manually but it flips back up to the top before syncing. I am appalled that this has been going on for so long for so many of this who paid for this Fitbit AND pay for Fitbit Premium, and Google knows about the problem but is not doing anything to fix it. They're too busy with AI?

I wonder if that's not what started my problem. I was trying to Public Preview with a great new display but a pathetic and extremely irritating Coach feature. Example: Did understand -- even after I told it -- that having a lower heart rate is NOT a good thing if you have bradycardia. Now I see Coach on the screen but not the option to switch to that other version of the app.

I depend on this to track vital info -- HR, arrhythmias. I cannot afford to just spend another $$$ on a different device from a different company, and I've had Fitbits since the Flex -- also Google Fi, Google Pixel phone, Google routers, etc. If they don't fix this before Christmas 2025, I think I'll make a YouTube video showing me smashing it to smithereens. And I hope it goes viral on all social media. But Google clearly doesn't care what people think about Fitbit now. What a shameful way to treat people who paid for your products.

The tracker isn't the problem. It's the app and the software that connects it to Google.

I finally resolved my issue, but it took hours of frustration checking all
the settings, restarting Charge 6, reloading the App as I tried to
"update". I do value my FitBit. Success came after I set up a fully charged
Charge 6 plugged in next to my phone all night. This morning AI must have
finally figured out my problem and "Update" finally took. Still I do feel
your pain, been there done that. Google has gotten so big it depends on AI
to take care of its customers. I do believe the value of one's health
metrics, especially for heart issues is worth hanging onto your Charge 6.
My husband has been able to share data with Dr.s and check his own heart
issues using the device. Still If you decide to do a YouTube video smashing
your device I completely understand.

I'm with you. I've had a FitBit since forever and I've been so happy with them until the whole Google thing. I depend on the numbers, track them manually (even though I use the app religiously), and never ever cry too much over updates. This one is killing me and I'm really upset about it. I won't change to anything else, I'll just BIT*H and continue to do so until someone listens to me and fixes it.

I had to resort to resetting it to factory / new state and set it up again. That was after wasting probably at least 6 hours over 3 days trying to solve the problem. It reinstalled some of my preferences, but I lost an entire week's worth of data, plus now I have to wait 2 weeks (?) until sleep and SpO2 starts showing up again.

Google has actually improved Fitbits, but now they're just too low on their priority list to bother with. I think my latest and worst problem with this version happened when I quit trying the Public Premiere (or whatever they're calling it) of the new app with the Coach AI. I actually love the Gemini app, and it's been very helpful with a lot of complex questions and decisions -- not perfect, but way better than the AI versions that people use just for fun and intentional deception. I loved the new data display on that experimental version and used the Coach feature for a few weeks. I ended up HATING it. Not nearly of the caliber of the Gemini app (gemini dot google dot com and not just what you see in Chrome Search). They need more crossover among those developers, at the least, because there seems to be too little knowledge transfer.

They don't seem to understand who their target market (buyers) really is, and they base too much on how people who work in offices all day and then run or go to the gym for exercise live -- focused on exercise for the sake of exercise, not also accomplishing something worth doing in the process. Badges are not my goal.
