This has happened on my Fitbit Charge 6 even when fully charged. The battery drains extremely fast, and yesterday “critical battery error” appeared in red on the screen. No reboot or reset has brought this thing back to life. VERY disappointed and will choose another brand next time.

Welcome to the Fitbit community, it is always nice to see someone new posting, @GothicBanshee.
Thanks for informing me about this situation in regards to the battery with your Charge 6.
I have checked in the system and it appears as if the battery is working normally, by any chance, do you have a photo you can send me showing the message that appeared to you, please? Also, I recommend you to check some tips to extend your battery's life.

The same thing just happened to my charge 5. It sounds like this may be a problem going around. I hope it's temporary and that it gets fixed soon.

This has just happened to me on my charge 6 which is just over 12 months old. I have had various fitbits in the past and they all seem to do this just outside the guarentee period. Is this a catastrophic failure?
