Dutch Food Database

It's been 8 years since the first post about this. It's been suggested multiple times over those 8 years, yet this is still not available. Clearly giving a thumbs up to a suggestion is doing **ahem** all.

How much longer are we going to have to wait? If the reason is because the Dutch market isn't big enough then why do Ireland and Singapore have their own databases available when their population count combined is smaller than The Netherlands?

Completely true in my eyes, have had a Fitbit for so long but using 3th party apps just does not work for me. How hard can it be to implement a extra food database. If I'm looking to buy a new watch in the near future but because I miss this feature I will likely have to choose another brand. So please Fitbit just do it!

It does not recognise all UK food shops. It does not recognise marks and spencer's food. Still the food data base seems a bit of a gimmick unless you eat a lot of (or any) processed meals  then little benefit. It may be the Irish consume more processed food and also share some with UK. When I have tried to add my meals even from shops where it works with vegetables and mince the data base does not provide much benefit. If the Dutch do not consume much processed food and small market it may be the combination that makes it not worth while. I would guess the food data base would work best with ready meals and things.
