Fitbit Charge 6 randomly stopped reading HR

Hi everyone,

I've tried to read as many posts on this before posting for support but my Fitbit has just randomly stopped reading my HR overnight. I am wearing it correctly as I usually do with no problems. But on my phone and my watch it is showing as "--" and I can't work out how to reset or switch things off and on. Can someone please support?

It sounds like there's an issue with the heart rate sensor. Do you see a green light on the back of your Charge 6? You can check by placing your finger on the back of the device. You should see the green light when you lift your finger.

If you don't see the green light, the first thing to do is check in the Settings menu on the Charge 6 to confirm Heart Rate is turned on.

• Swipe down from the clock face until you see the Settings tile and tap on it.
• Swipe up to Heart rate. It should be turned on. If not, tap on it to turn it on.

If Heart rate was turned on and you still don't see the green light, you should contact Support (<-- click link). Complete the prompts until you get to the option to chat or call. You may have better response if you call.
