Google Family and Fitbit query

I’m in the process of switching to Google Fitbit and it is such a pain. I had to delete my kids accounts just to move my own over. Now I need to create a new account for my kid, but only the Google family manager can do that? My husband doesn’t even have a Fitbit or a Fitbit account. Will I still be able to see my kid’s stats in the Fitbit app once it’s all set up? Or only the manager can? Plus my kid doesn’t have a phone so can I sync to mine (I used to but it seemed to stop working lately before the switch to Google) or do we have to set it up on his older brother’s phone?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @mokelvo2. I'll be happy to assist with your question regarding the Google Family and your children's accounts.

Only the Fitbit Family Account Manager can create a new account for your kid. If you're able to add your kids to the Family Account and are the main Guardian you can see your kids stats (step count, active minutes, and sleep patterns).

Your kid must have a phone in order to be able to set up and sync the device.
